 Farzi Café Story

Regarded as ‘The Prince of Indian cuisine’, Zorawar Kalra is credited with introducing some of the most awarded restaurant concepts in India.

In December 2012, Zorawar launched Massive Restaurants. Mentored by his illustrious father - and ‘Czar of Indian Cuisine’ - Jiggs Kalra, the company was established with the aim of developing restaurant brands that specialise in showcasing the evolution of Indian cuisine and putting it permanently on the global map.

Today the company operates a number of acclaimed, multi award winning fine dining restaurants, including the signature Masala Library by Jiggs Kalra; the smart-casual Made in Punjab; modern Indian bistro Farzi Café; contemporary pan-Asian bistro Pa Pa Ya; ‘freestyle’ bar & kitchen KODE; the cutting edge, post-modern masalabar and gourmet grill and brewery BBQ’D. Massive Restaurants will soon be raising the bar a notch higher with the launch of its brand-new modern Thai bar & grill concept, BO-TAI.

 MODERNIST CUISINE

Flowing smoke, pebble like smooth spheres, table theatrics and culinary illusion are a few aspects which describe the Farzi Café experience. Elements of molecular gastronomy, modern techniques, customized equipment and table theatrics transform flavours for a unique, high energy, modernist and genre defining Indian dining experience. Farzi Café explores molecular gastronomy at its peak, retaining the essence of the cuisine and each dish served, creating an unparalleled culinary experience.
